A construction worker in Orlando suffered a major fall Friday.

The Orlando Fire Department responded to the scene.

According to fire officials, the worker fell approximately 15 feet from a scaffolding structure, landing on the second floor.

A stokes basket and a ladder truck were used while the worker was assisted.

Fire officials said the worker had serious injuries from the incident and was alert while being airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
