Thursday's Matchup The Lightning and Maple Leafs are playing their fourth of four meetings this season and the second of two at AMALIE Arena...Tampa Bay is 1-1-1 so far this season versus Toronto...The Maple Leafs earned a 6-2 win in the last meeting Apr. 4 at AMALIE Arena, Auston Matthews recording a hat trick to pace the Leafs...Tampa Bay picked up its lone win so far in the season series Dec. 9 at Toronto, Steven Stamkos notching a goal and three assists to aid the Lightning in their 5-3 win that capped a season long-tying five-game win streak...Toronto won the first meeting in the season series 2-1 in overtime Nov. 4 at Scotiabank Arena after John Tavares scored an extra-attacker goal with :42 seconds remaining to tie the game 1-1 late and William Nylander scored the game-winner on a power play 2:43 into OT...The Lightning have dropped four of their last five to the Maple Leafs...The Bolts have lost three in a row at home to Toronto.

Thursday's Storylines The Lightning are playing the fourth game of their season-long five-game homestand...Tampa Bay has three home games remaining among their final six regular season contests...The Lightning are one home win away from recording 25 home wins in a season for the ninth time in franchise history and the seventh time under head coach Jon Cooper...A regulation loss to the Maple Leafs tonight would guarantee a third or fourth place finish in the Atlantic Division for the Lightning.
